Relocation of an existing off-license resulted in the construction of a further two retail units and a two storey residential development over the shops. To allow clear space within the larger unit a single storey steel frame was proposed with the additional two floors over formed in load bearing masonry. All floors were precast concrete plank. The site was deemed suitable for pad and strip foundations. A full design of the external works and drainage was undertaken and a storage sytem proposed with attetuation measures prior to discharging in to the public sewer.

Three single storey portal framed buildings containing multiple starter units for SME's were constructed in Lincoln where the ground level required raising. An engineered fill strategy was undertaken for two of the buildings to increase the level to the adjacent site topography. Foundations were generally traditional pad and strip and following compaction tests on the fill it was consider suitable for a ground bearing slab to be cast on to it. A full external design package was undertaken for the scheme.

Aspect Consulting Engineers were asked to provide a full Architectural, Civil and Structural Engineering design for a proposed industrial unit in Sleaford for a local distributor. The work undertaken included conceptual design and the preparation of planning drawings together with the structural design and detailing for all major elements. A full sustainable drainage and external works design was carried out with all surface water discharging through soakaways.
